Bank Quay House, Warrington, celebrates completion

Developer Python Properties completed their £1 million transformation of Bank Quay House, Warrington earlier this month and celebrated the occasion with an open invitation for all businesses to view the revamped building on 21 November 2008.

The celebration also welcomed two new tenants to the property; RK Accountancy and Christian Aid who join existing occupiers The Business Federation Group and Kinetic plc.

Recruitment accountancy specialists RK Accountancy occupy 1800 sq ft and Christian Aid who have relocated their UK North West office into the premises and occupy 2000 sq ft.

Bank Quay House, formerly known as Priestley House was acquired by Python Properties in November 2006 and is situated on Sankey Street opposite Warrington's Town Hall and the famous 'Golden Gates'.

The 26,712 sq. ft., five-storey office block has been completely upgraded to meet Python's exacting high-quality conversion standards.

The exterior refurbishment has included installing windows within former solid walls that now offer views across Bank Park, replacing all existing windows with double glazed units, cleaning and painting the brickwork and render and the creation of a contemporary, new glazed entrance under the existing canopy.

Inside the installation of new lighting, suspended ceilings, a new passenger lift, heating, carpeting and a high quality ash-wood finish throughout the building have brought about a remarkable transformation. An impressive contemporary reception area has been installed at ground floor level, which is permanently staffed by Python Properties as part of their management arrangement.

A 600 sq. ft. glass fronted coffee/bistro area has been created and is situated opposite the reception which will provide an extra facility for staff working in the building, visitors and the public. An operator for this facility has been appointed and a further announcement about will follow.

Situated in the heart of Warrington's commercial quarter, the building is superbly located in the heart of Warrington's commercial district only a few minutes walk away from Warrington Bank Quay railway station, bus stops and the town-centres bustling shops and restaurants.
