Promotion further strengthens Smith & Sons auction team

25 November 2008

Annette Shelley from the team at Merseyside's longest established property and auction specialists, Smith & Sons, has been promoted to the role of Auctions Manager.

Annette's new role follows on from Smith & Sons recent announcement that, as from December 2008, the Company will join forces with established U.K. Auction specialist Auction House to form "Auction House Smith and Sons".

As one of the fastest growing organisations of national independent auctioneers, Auction House provides the concept of a strong brand identity and proven work practices in a co-ordinated network of auction rooms throughout the country, and the new partnership will significantly increase Smith & Sons' already very successful auctions business.

As Auction Manager, Annette will now be responsible for managing the expanding Smith & Sons auction department client database, liaising with vendors and purchasers, sale negotiations and most importantly overseeing the new Introducer Network to promote the new Auction House Smith & Sons partnership.

Annette joined Smith & Sons in 2005 as PA and Auction Administrator, working directly with Smith & Sons Partner, Chris Johnson.

Annette has gained much experience within the property sector throughout her career, as prior to Smith & Sons Annette worked for the Liverpool Daily Post and Echo as a Publication Controller where she was responsible for the production of property adverts and liaising with Estate Agents throughout Merseyside.

Auction House Smith & Sons next property auction is to take place at the Village Hotel, Bromborough on 27th January 2009 with a closing date for entries of 12 December 2008.
