Merseyside developer Riverside Park Ltd has announced the completion of what is arguably one the regions most energy efficient commercial buildings – Building 3 on the Riverside Park development at Wirral International Business Park in Bromborough, Merseyside.
The developer was keen to ensure that the specification of Building 3 was designed to make it exceptionally energy efficient and as such has successfully has earned the new scheme an outstanding 41 rating Energy Performance certificate.
Building 3 - that comprises of 30,000 sq ft of new build commercial space - is divided into eight suites from 2,089 sq ft to 4,630 sq ft. It includes renewable energy heating systems powered from the ground, recycled rainwater use and maximisation of natural solar energy. Breeam rated Very Good the unit is finished to the same high specification as Units 1 and 2.
The completion of the new building at Riverside Park follows a successful end to 2008 as at the end of last year joint agents Smith & Sons and Mason Owen announced two new letting at the scheme - Advisor Plus, that operates their national Service Delivery Centre from Riverside Park - took an additional 4000sq and now occupies 10,000sq ft – and Wirral PCT that also took an additional 4,300sq ft as home to their GP Out-of-Hours Service call centre.
